By using the app K2 Business Apps, you have the perfect tool at hand to perform any K2 task at any location. The app is ideal for real-time approvals, extensive inspections, adequate onboarding and so on. Whether you perform work indoors or outdoors, share relevant information quickly and easily with your colleagues.
Every form or task that was previously only available as a web form is now available in the native app.

The app K2 Business Apps contains three categories:
- apps: single-instance K2 forms with, for example, project overviews or dashboards. When opening an app, data is loaded from K2 SmartForms. New data can be entered by using forms.
- forms: separate web forms that facilitate submitting new data entries or issues together with text, photos and location data.
- tasks: tasks that are assigned to a user or a user role. The user sees all information about the task and can state a status for each task.
The apps, forms and tasks are grouped per project, for example “HR” or “Inspections”. This way you can easily make categories available per department.

After installing the app K2 Business Apps, it is very simple to make a K2 form available in the app:
- In K2 SmartForms, choose the form that should be available in the app
- Provide the name and description that you want to use in the app
- Specify the type (app, form or task) and the project
Voilà, the magic is done: the form is available in the native app!

A native app offers many advantages over a web app:
- The interface provides the speed and the look and feel that users of mobile apps are used to,
- The failure sensitivity is very low and updates are easy to manage and roll out,
- Telephone functionalities such as the camera, the photo gallery and the location data are easily integrated.
The K2 Mobile app from K2 is not a native app but is based on web pages. In our network of K2 customers, there was therefore a demand for a native app that would match the wishes and requirements of the end users.
K2 Business Apps can be used offline. The app synchronizes local stored information at a chosen time.
K2 Business Apps uses the same user roles and user rights as the underlying K2 SmartForms. The user only has to authenticate once to gain access to all apps that are assigned to his user role.
K2 Business Apps is one native app that gives access to all web forms to which the user is entitled. It is therefore not necessary to install a new app for every form, task or workflow.
At the moment, the K2 Business Apps app is not available as a white label app, but nothing is impossible. Contact us to discuss the options.
The K2 Business Apps is available on the platforms iOS and Android.
The app can be used on both smartphones and tablets.
