Connecting To A Server
Login
When you start K2 Business Apps, you’ll be faced with four fields:
- Server
- Security Provider
- Username
- Password
Server
The server is the base URL where the EndPoints.json file is located. This was configured on this page. For example: you’ve placed the EndPoint.json file at https://k2.ABC.com/K2BusinessApps/EndPoints.json
, then the server that needs to be entered is k2.abc.com
. Once filled, the file is retrieved and the security provider field gets its data.
Security Provider
While K2 Business Apps can support multiple security providers, K2 SMO Services cannot. We’ve created a support ticket at K2 and are awaiting their reply. The options shown here are taken from the EndPoints.json file.
Username & Password
Since the only available security provider is K2, you’ll need to login using the same credentials, including a domain, as you enter when visiting any K2 Smartforms form in the browser. This is often your AD account.
